250 ml peas 1 cup
50 ml green peppers, chopped 1/4 cup
30 ml onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp
150 ml flour 2/3 cup
250 ml milk 1 cup
500 ml chicken broth 2 cup
salt & pepper to taste
2 ml poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp
500 ml chicken, cooked & diced 2 cup
175 ml mushrooms, chopped 3/4 cup
In a medium saucepan; cook peas, peppers and onions with 1/3 cup (75 ml) water. Cook until tender. Drain; reserving liquid.
In same saucepan; blend flour and milk until well blended; stir in reserved cooking liquid, broth, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook one minute. Add cooked vegetables, chicken and mushrooms. Heat through. Serve with toast or biscuits.
