Irish Whiskey Cake

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1-1/4 cup water
1/4 cup plus 1/3 cup Irish whiskey
3 eggs
10 pecans halves
1/3 cup Crisco oil
2 tablespoon sugar
1 cup raisins
1 vanilla pudding (4 serving size) regular, no instant

Mix cake mix and 1 cup water, 1/4 cup whiskey, eggs and oil in a large bowl. Prepare cake as directed on package. Pour into greased and floured pans, two 9-inch round pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Filling:
Heat 1/4 cup water and sugar in saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Stir in 1/3 cup whiskey and raisins. Let stand 30 minutes. Prepare pudding mix as directed. Drain raisins well and stir into cooled pudding. Spread half on first layer then top with second layer. Spread remaining pudding on top. Decorate with pecans.
