Hartlepool Burger

1/4 pound hamburger patty
Flaky pastry dough
Slice cheddar cheese
Slice Swiss cheese
Grilled or fried onions

Take flaky pastry and cut two pieces circular to approximately 1″ larger than the size of the burger patty

Place burger on one half of pastry, lay the cheddar cheese slice on top followed by the onions and then the Swiss cheese

Take other piece of pastry, lay on top and crimp round all sides

Place in a pre-heated oven at 350-degrees F for 25 minutes or until pastry has risen and is golden brown

Serve with your choice of vegetables or salad. Delicious when served with brown gravy!
