Raisins and maple syrup make a delicious coating for a baked ham. Try it at your next family reunion or holiday dinner.
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 1/2 cups golden raisins
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
Combine apple juice, raisins, syrup and cinnamon and heat to boiling; stir occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Mix together cornstarch and cold water; stir into apple juice mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute to thicken.
Makes 12 servings.
