500 g potatoes, peeled & cut into chunks 1 lb
500 g parsnips, peeled & cut into chunks 1 lb
75 ml milk 1/3 cup
15 ml butter 1 tbsp
salt & pepper to taste
In a large saucepan; add potatoes, parsnips and water to cover. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.
Mash with potato masher. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper to taste.
