This meatless breakfast casserole can be put together in just a few minutes.
2 cups croutons
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups milk
4 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Preheat oven to 350F (175C).
Spread croutons over the bottom of a 9-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
In a bowl, combine milk, eggs, salt, pepper and onion powder. Pour over cheese. Bake for 45 minutes, or until center is set. Serve warm.
