3/4 cup raisins
1 cup warm water
4 to 5 cups fresh broccoli flowerets, cut into bite-size pieces
8 slices smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
1/2 cup toasted sunflower seeds
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon curry powder
Combine raisins and warm water in a small bowl; let stand for 5 minutes; drain.
Combine raisins, broccoli and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl; toss to mix.
Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and curry powder in a small bowl; stir well. Pour dressing over broccoli mixture; toss gently and serve immediately.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
