Chocolate Sweet Pie

1/2 cup butter
2 large eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350*F.

In a large bowl cream together softened butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and blend well after each addition. Add flour, blend well. Stir in semisweet chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or center is set. Cool completely.

Makes 8 servings.
