Pie Crust:
2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup water
Chocolate Mix:
1-1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup milk
Mix all Chocolate Mix ingredients together into a creamy sauce. Make pie crust by cutting shortening into flour with salt. Add water to make into a ball. Pinch off 1/2-inch ball and roll out flat. Spread chocolate sauce over 1 side and turn the other side over it. Mash together with fork. Fry in deep shortening until brown on 1 side, then turn and brown on other side. Drain on paper towels.
Makes about 12 pies.
