1 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons Crisco
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
Combine brown sugar, Crisco and butter in saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Add milk and boil slowly for 3 minutes. Set it aside to cool to lukewarm. Add powdered sugar and beat until thick. All measurements are level.
