1.25 L penne or rotini 5 cup
750 ml broccoli florets 3 cup
50 ml olive oil 3 Tbsp
3 garlic cloves, minced
salt & pepper to taste
parmesan cheese, grated
In a large pot of boiling salted water; cook penne or rotini for 5 minutes. Add broccoli, cook for 3 minutes or until pasta is tender but firm and broccoli is tender-crisp. Drain well. Meanwhile, in small saucepan; heat olive oil with garlic for 2 to 3 minutes or until garlic is softened. Toss with pasta mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
