Boiled Custard Eggnog

1-1/2 cups Sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
8 egg yolks
6 cups milk
2 cups light cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1-1/2 cups whiskey

Mix in first 3 ingredients in a 6 quart pan. Add yolks. Whisk in milk and cream, slowly. Cover and heat over low, stirring constantly until it coats a wooden spoon. Remove and cool. Stir in remaining.
