Beefy Nachos

500 g lean ground beef 1 lb

50 ml onion, chopped 1/4 cup

75 ml steak sauce or tomato sauce 1/3 cup

1.3 L tortilla chips 5 cup

250 ml cheddar cheese, shredded 1 cup

375 ml sour cream 1 1/2 cup

250 ml tomato, chopped 1 cup



In a large skillet; brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in steak sauce.



Arrange tortilla chips on large heatproof platter. Spoon beef mixture over chips; sprinkle with cheese.



Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and tomato.



Serves 6
