1.8 kg eye of round roast 4 lb
250 ml ketchup 1 cup
750 ml BBQ sauce 3 cup
30 ml vinegar 2 tbsp
2 garlic, minced 2
250 ml onion, chopped 1 cup
250 ml celery, chopped 1 cup
500 ml water 2 cup
30 ml brown sugar 2 tbsp
30 ml worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
5 ml salt 1 tsp
In a medium bowl; blend together ketchup, BBQ sauce, vinegar, garlic, onion, celery, water, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and salt.
Pour 1/4 of sauce on bottom of roasting pan, add roast and pour some more sauce over top. Cook covered in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 3 to 4 hours. Turn roast every hour and check for flaking. When roast is cooked, add remaining sauce, flake meat and warm thoroughly.
