Barbecued Pecans

2 Tablespoons melted butter or oleo
1/4 Cup worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon catsup
1/4 Teaspoon hot sauce
4 Cups pecan halves
salt (optional)

Combine f irst 4 ingredients, stir in pecans, mix well. Spread pecans evenly in a shallow baking pan . Bake at 3000 for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt if desired.

Yield 4 cups.
