3 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon cornflour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 baked 8 or 9-in. pie shell
Sliced bananas
Mix dry ingredients together. Stir eggs into milk and cream; add to dry ingredients. Cook until thick; add vanilla. Cool. Pour into pie shell. Add bananas. Coconut may be substituted for bananas. If you use coconut add 1/4 cup coconut to filling; sprinkle same amount on top.
Yield: 5 servings.
