Maple Butter Frosting

1.00 L icing sugar
100.00 mL butter, softened
0.50 mL salt
150.00 mL maple syrup

Combine sugar, butter and salt. Beat in maple syrup; continue beating until fluffy.

Makes about 725 mL.
