Shrimp Scampi with Pasta

1 pound pasta
2 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons garlic
2 tablespoons chopped shallots
4 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 pound peeled, deveined shrimp
freshly ground pepper

Cook pasta according to package directions. Combine broth, garlic, shallots, and parsley in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer 3 minutes.

Add shrimp to broth. Simmer 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Pour mixture over drained, warmed pasta. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings.
