1 pound ground beef
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup hickory-flavored barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 Hot dog buns, split
Butter for buns
In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain. Stir in ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, and black pepper; mix well. Simmer 10 minutes, or until flavors are blended.
Meanwhile, butter hot dog buns and toast them under the broiler. Spoon the beef mixture onto the toasted buns and serve.
