50 ml pickled or salted herring, diced
.5 ml white pepper
500 ml cooked beets, skinned & diced
2 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled & diced
2 tart apples, peeled & diced
2 large carrots, peeled, cooked & diced
1 small onion, minced
2 medium dill pickles, diced
5 ml pickle juice
In a large bowl; combine herring, pepper, beets, potatoes, apples, carrots, onion, dill pickles and juice. Cover and refrigerate so flavors blend before serving.
