625 ml flour
5 ml salt
5 ml sugar
15 ml fast rising yeast
30 ml oil
300 ml warm water
– pizza sauce or BBQ sauce –
250 ml cooked ham or chicken, diced
250 ml red, green or yellow peppers, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
5 mushrooms, sliced
250 ml pineapple chunks
500 ml mozzarella cheese, shredded
In a large bowl; mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Add oil and water; mix to a soft dough, adding more flour if necessary. Cover and let rise in warm place. When it has doubled, make small round pizza crusts.
Heat the BBQ. Spray grill with oil before placing pizza rounds on top. Grill dough for about 2 to 3 minutes. Turn over and grill for another minute or so.
Brush on sauce, add ham, veggies, pineapple and cheese. Allow to warm through and cheese has melted. This takes around 5 minutes.
