1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups cooked rice (cooked in beef broth)
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided use
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Brown beef and onion in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Stir in rice, broccoli, 1/2 cup cheese, salt, thyme, pepper, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Turn into buttered 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F. 20 to 25 minutes.
