1.5 L red cabbage, chopped 6 cup
water
75 ml brown sugar 6 tbsp
75 ml vinegar 6 tbsp
salt & pepper to taste
Place chopped cabbage in frying pan. Add just enough water to cover bottom. Mix sugar and vinegar; add to cabbage mixture.
Cover and cook over medium heat until cabbage is tender crisp; stirring frequently.
