3 large onions, thinly sliced
6 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
250 ml salad oil 1 cup
150 ml vinegar 2/3 cup
30 ml sugar 2 tbsp
5 ml salt 1 tsp
5 ml basil 1 tsp
– pepper to taste
In a shallow dish; add onion and tomato slices.
In a small bowl; mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, basil and pepper. Pour over vegetables and let marinate for at least 4 hours.
