4 onions, sliced
1/2 juice of lemon 1/2
25 ml butter 5 tsp
15 ml sugar 3 tsp
Peel and slice onions. Heat butter in frying pan; add onions. Fry gently for about 5 minutes or until onions are softened. Stir lemon juice into small bowl. Add sugar; blend. Pour mixture over onions and continue to fry fairly quickly until the onions have been browned.
