Cut these delicate soft ginger bars into a variety of creative shapes.
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
1 large egg
3 tablespoons molasses
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
3 tablespoons decorator or granulated sugar
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine sugar, butter, egg and molasses in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and ginger. Beat until well mixed.
Press dough into ungreased 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan. Sprinkle with decorator sugar. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes or until browned around edges. Cool completely. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutter or cut into squares.
