Strawberry Vermouth Soup

2 cups strawberries, rinsed and hulled
1 cup water
1 cup vermouth
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

In a food processor, purée strawberries with water, vermouth, sugar, lemon juice and lemon peel. Serve chilled.

Makes 6 servings.
