Wild Rice Torres

1 (16-ounce) package pork breakfast sausage or Italian sausage (if using links, remove casing)
2 (4.3-ounce) boxes of wild rice mix, cooked according to package directions
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup roasted pecans or walnuts, coarsely chopped
Garnish: chopped green onion

In a large skillet, brown the sausage and drain excess fat. Add sausage to prepared wild rice along with green onion, raisins, and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Serve warm. Garnish with green onion, if desired.
