German Chocolate cake mix
14 ounce caramels
12 ounce chocolate chips
1 C. chopped nuts
1/2 C. evaporated milk
Make cake batter according to instructions on the box. Pour 1/2 of the cake mix into a sprayed 9″ x 13″ pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes.
Melt caramels and milk together until smooth. Pour hot caramel mix on top of baked cake. Put chocolate chips and nuts on top, then spread remaining cake mix on top and bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 to 20 minutes.
