Surprise Pumpkin Muffins

500 ml all purpose flour 2 cup
125 ml sugar 1/2 cup
1 ml ginger 1/4 tsp
1 ml nutmeg 1/4 tsp
2 ml cinnamon 1/2 tsp
1 ml cloves 1/4 tsp
1 ml allspice 1/4 tsp
15 ml baking powder 1 tbsp
2 ml salt 1/2 tsp
2 eggs, slightly beaten

175 ml pumpkin 3/4 cup
125 ml butter, melted 1/2 cup
50 ml sour cream 1/4 cup
1 package cream cheese, cubed

In a large bowl; mix flour, sugar, spices, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl; mix eggs, pumpkin, butter and sour cream. Add to flour mixture and stir just until blended. Fill paper lined muffin cups 1/4 full. Place a cream cheese cube in centre of each. Add more batter to fill cups 2/3 full. Bake in preheated 400 F (200 C) oven for 15 to 25 minutes.
