Sloppy Joes with Potatoes and Onion

500 g lean ground beef 1 lb
salt & pepper to taste
1 medium onion, sliced & separated into rings
2 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can sloppy joe sauce

Crumble ground beef into a skillet; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer onion and potatoes on beef; pour sauce over top. Cover and cook over low heat until beef is done and potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
