250 g cooked beef, chopped 1/2 lb
1 small onion, cooked & chopped
25 ml ketchup 2 tbsp
salt & pepper to taste
250 ml leftover beef gravy 1 cup
500 ml mashed potato 2 cup
25 ml butter or margarine 2 tbsp
cayenne pepper
parsley flakes
Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Mix together meat, onion, ketchup, salt, pepper and gravy. Place in a greased baking dish. Cover with mashed potato. Dot with small pieces of butter. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and decorate with a little parsley. Serve hot.

Variation:
This pie can be made using any type of meat and gravy or by substituting cooked white fish with a tasty white sauce or creamed soup for the meat and gravy.
