375 ml potatoes, peeled & cubed 1 1/2 cup
250 ml parsnips, peeled & cubed 1 cup
5 ml chicken bouillon powder 1 tsp
375 ml water 1 1/2 cup
375 ml milk 1 1/2 cup
50 ml green onion, chopped 1/4 cup
0.5 ml garlic powder 1/8 tsp
dash pepper
Place potatoes and parsnips in a saucepan with chicken bouillon powder and water. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes and parsnips are done to desired tenderness. Add green onion, garlic powder, milk and pepper and stir until all ingredients are well blended. Serve hot or cold.
