This cool drink is a cross between a smoothie and a fruit frozen bar. A simple delight of pineapple sweetened by the softness of powdered sugar.
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 cup water
1/3 cup powdered sugar
Combine pineapple, water and sugar in a freezer-safe bowl; freeze for a couple of hours.
Remove from freezer and put in a blender. Process at high speed; purée until smooth, about 3 minutes.
Makes 3 servings.
Tip: Add some shredded coconut for a more intense island flavor.
