
This well-balanced gin cocktail showcases the herbal flavor of Chartreuse, a green liqueur that has been produced by the Carthusian Monks in France since 1737. It is made with 130 herbs and plants, which give Chartreuse its unique color.
1 1/2 ounces Gentilly Gin
3/4 ounce Giffard Pamplemousse
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce Chartreuse
Splash simple syrup
2 drops tiki bitters
Garnish: lime peel
In a cocktail shaker, add gin, Giffard Pamplemousse, lime juice, Chartreuse, simple syrup, and bitters. Add ice. Cover and shake until cold. Strain into a coupe glass, and garnish with lime peel, if desired.
