1-1/2 cups Cranberry Juice Cocktail or 100% orange juice
1-1/4 cups Hunts Ketchup (do not substitute)
1/2 cup whole grain Dijon mustard
1 -6 ounce can of tomato paste
1/2 cup Bourbon
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Tamari soy sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup applesauce
1 tablespoon jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 lemon, juiced and quartered
1/2 stick of margarine
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 medium Ancho chili – seeded and diced. Soak in orange juice and apple juice above. Power blend.
OR
1 teaspoon Ancho Chili Seasoning
1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
1-1/2 teaspoons cumin
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1-1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Use the wand blender after all ingredients are combined in a 5-quart sauce pan.
