Maple Cream Spread

2 cups maple syrup (fresh maple syrup)
1 to 2 cups margarine

Bring maple syrup to a boil; boil to soft ball stage. Place in refrigerator until chilled. Don’t shake. Remove from refrigerator and add margarine and whip.
