Lime Fruit Dip

2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
4 teaspoon cornstarch
1 can frozen limeade ( 6 ounce ) undiluted
few drops of green food color, optional
1 cup cream whipped
assorted fresh firm fruit cut up

In a double boiler beat eggs with sugar , cornstarch and limeade. Cook and stir until thick. Remove from heat. Add food color. Cool. Whip cream and fold into cooled mixture. Yield about 2 cups. Refrigerate unused portions.
