Italian Herbed Beer Bread

3 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 12-ounce can beer
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 325F. Spray a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir in beer to form a stiff dough. Place dough into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 65 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
