3-1/2 lb Small okra pods
1 pt Distilled vinegar, Colorless
1 qt Water
2 teaspoons Dill seed
1/3 cup Salt
3 sm Hot peppers FOR EACH jar
1 Clove garlic FOR EACH jar.
Wash okra, and pack firmly in hot sterilized jars. Into each jar put a clove of garlic and 3 hot peppers. Make a brine with the water, vinegar, dill seed and salt. Boil. Pour boiling brine over okra, leaving a 1/2 inch headspace in each jar. Seal. Process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath. Allow to ripen several weeks before using.
