Henry Bain Sauce

Henry Bain was the headwaiter at a Louisville, Kentucky men’s club more than a century ago when he created the sauce that bears his name. This recipe varies some from Bain’s original version, but it’s true to the source, a savory, spicy sauce made from several other sauces, marvelous served with pork, steaks, or chicken.

1 small jar chutney, chopped
1 (14-ounce) bottle ketchup
1 (8-ounce) bottle chili sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup A-1 Brand Steak Sauce
Tabasco sauce (use your own judgment)

Blend all ingredients together well.

Makes about 2 cups.
