500 g elbow macaroni noodles 1 lb
1 kg lean ground beef 2 lb
1 onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
15 ml paprika 1 tbsp
pinch nutmeg
10 ml dried marjoram 2 tsp
1 can crushed tomatoes ( 14 oz / 398 ml)
40 ml sour cream 3 tbsp
30 ml butter 2 tbsp
Cook macaroni noodles as directed on package.
Meanwhile, heat a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and brown. Add onion, garlic, paprika, nutmeg and marjoram. Mix in tomatoes. Heat through. Add sour cream.
Add drained macaroni and toss with butter.
Serve goulash mixture over macaroni.
