3 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
2 tablespoon margarine, melted
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup sugar
Combine margarine and corn syrup and heat to boil. Put nuts on a cookie sheet. Put in 250 degrees oven for 5 minutes. Take out of oven, then pour the boiled syrup mixture over nuts and mix well so they are coated all over with the syrup. Spread out on the cookie sheet. Bake in a 250 degrees oven for 1 hour, turning once in a while. Take out of oven; sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the nuts. Mix well; store in covered container.
