Glazed Nuts

1 cup whole walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Combine walnuts, sugar and butter in a heavy skillet. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly until nuts are coated and sugar is golden brown (about 15 minutes). Stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on foil and cool.
