Easy Polenta

1 cup polenta
3-1/4 cups lukewarm water
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C).

Place all ingredients into a generously buttered 8 x 8-inch baking pan, mixing well.

Bake, uncovered, for 50 minutes. Using a fork, stir mixture well and bake and additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Serve hot with your favorite tomato, meat or vegetable sauce.

Makes 6 servings.
