4 ounces uncooked egg noodles
1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 3 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup creamed cottage cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 medium tomato, if desired
Cook noodles as directed on package; drain. While noodles are cooking, cook and stir meat, onion, and celery in large skillet until meat is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in noodles, tomato sauce, salt, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream.
Heat mixture to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Cut tomato into thin slices and arrange on meat mixture. Cover until tomato slices are warm, about 5 minutes.
