Conch Fritters

1 cup pounded conch
1/3 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoon butter, melted
Vegetable oil for frying

Boil conch for about 5 minutes. Drain. Grind into small pieces. Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt. Combine the eggs, melted butter and conch. Stir conch mixture into flour mixture. Mix well. In a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, heat 1/2 inch of oil to 350:. Carefully drop batter by the TBS. into oil and cook 3-5 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Serve with a seafood sauce.
