Chocolate Nut Pie

Pastry for one crust 9-inch pie (see recipe)

1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons bourbon
2 eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Prepare pastry and line a 9-inch pie plate; chill.

Preheat oven to 350*(175*C).

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour; mix well. Add bourbon, then eggs; beat until fluffy. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.

Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake 25 minutes exactly. Do not overtake.

Makes 8 servings.
