Carob Candy Balls

Good as an after-school snack with a glass of cold milk, Carob Candy Balls offer the crunch and flavor of sesame, creaminess of peanut butter, texture and sweetness of honey, and nutty chewiness of wheat germ all enclosed in well-loved graham cracker crumbs.

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup carob powder
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup powdered milk

Measure graham cracker crumbs onto a large plate or sheet of waxed paper; set aside.

Blend carob powder, honey, peanut butter, sesame seed, wheat germ and powdered milk in a large bowl.

Form into 1 1/2-inch balls and roll in graham cracker crumbs to coat. Place in an airtight container or carefully cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 1 hour to set.
