
2 tomatoes, diced
50 ml fresh basil, chopped 1/4 cup
2 cloves garlic, minced
75 ml onion, finely chopped 1/3 cup
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 loaf french bread or french baguette
olive oil
parmesan cheese
Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Cut bread into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces. Place on cookie sheet. Broil one side of bread until golden; turn over. Brush bread with olive oil. Top with tomato mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Broil for 1 minute or until hot and bubbly. Serve immediately.
